Job Summary Newberry's Regional Account Executive is a "closer" position, responsible for executing the Newberry sales process to increase sales and decrease cycle time. This position will work closely with Newberry's internal teams to maximize sales opportunities and aggressively drive sales growth within their assigned Region (Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead Generation

  • Identify new Prospects in the Target Segments within your assigned territory
  • Identify and Win New Business with Prospects and Customers, through research, networking, social selling, and aggressive cold calling
  • Use marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using sales management tools
  • Introduce product offerings to prospective and current customers

Sales Skills

  • Meet in-person with 15 Customers and Prospects each week
  • Spend 90% of your time with high potential accounts in Target Markets
  • Effectively plan and conduct sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strong business leads and sales opportunities
  • Maintain customer account records in CRM, including activities and meeting
  • Provide product quotes to customers, in a timely manner
  • Quickly gain knowledge of the company products, procedures, services, and tools

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Excellent combination of desire to excel, teamwork, & process orientation
  • Ability to succeed in an online environment using CRM, HR portal, and expense reporting.
  • Proficient navigating and using Salesforce.com
  • Willingness to make numerous prospecting and in person calls per day (Min. 5)
  • Professional sales training preferred
  • 2-5 years of documented sales achievement
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt and seize new business opportunities
  • Excellent closing and communication skills, interpersonal and team management skills
  • Self-starter with good work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of product, strategy, analytics, lead generation, content, and systems
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Availability for 50-75% Travel  On the road Tuesday-Thursday
